About the Host
Ciara is a movement facilitator, forest school educator and lifelong dancer who believes that movement is one of the most natural ways we have to explore ourselves and the world around us.
She has spent 7 years working with children in outdoor education, watching them turn sticks into wands, puddles into oceans and ordinary patches of forest into entire worlds.
Faerie Land grew out of that experience and out of her own love of dance, imagination and embodied play.
Ciara creates a space where children can experience that magic while their grownups get to experience it too.
A place to move without performing.
To play without needing a reason.
To be together without rushing.
And perhaps to remember the magic that surrounds us all the time.
